well my morning got visited by yet another BSOD so I had to shift priorities and spent the last couple hours researching stuff. I'd been planning on getting a new pc but was debating putting it off a bit longer; clearly that was tempting fate. I suppose at least now I have a package to look forward to after what's supposed to be a hectic workweek
it's annoying that downgrading the graphics driver didn't fix the issue but at the same time, this pc is 6-7 years old. can't be mad at the graphics card starting to fail when other stuff has been starting to slow down the past few months
I definitely splurged on the new build but considering I don't upgrade often it felt worth it. I like knowing I'll be good for several years without needing to upgrade stuff most likely
it'll be my first AMD processor but with the Intel issues I didn't want to risk it
and first pc SSD. last time I stuck with the tried and true but my ps5 has shown me how nice a SSD can be

but now, time to focus on not getting too warm and to try and remember what I'd jotted down on my to-do list that poofed when the BSOD happened
upgrading my pc to an SSD was a game changer for me honestly. sounds like a fun package on the way!
I'm really looking forward to quicker loading times for everything. and just the fairly decent upgrade overall
my current pc has served me well and never had any issues (until recently) but it was kind of a Black Friday sale impulse purchase and there were a few details I definitely overlooked when I got it
new pc is my very early bday present to myself lol
but I knew I wanted to get it before October when win10 is technically 'end of life' since I'm 100% downgrading from 11 to 10 and this way I know all the parts are still compatible with 10
eeeee it's shipping out already
I didn't think I'd have it until middle of next week, now there's a chance I might have it by the end of this week

ssd + 32gb ram is going to feel so speedy
