fun fact, i was told by someone at the yarn store where i shop that knitting backwards to undo stuff was called "tinking", as "tink" it "knit" backwards :V

Tinking is using the needles to go back stitch by stitch, frogging is pulling off the needles entirely and hoping you don't lose stitches
