I call it frogging because rip it rip it but I have always loved tinking as a phrase too

I consider frogging and thinking different!

Tinking is using the needles to go back stitch by stitch, frogging is pulling off the needles entirely and hoping you don't lose stitches

my fix resulted in a couple extra ends to weave in but at least it's not an infinity hat
