gogolita: LOL, let me tell you a story about Bitter Apple and me. I had a dog, Dukka, who chewed on my couch, a gorgeous mid-century modern, marine blue, 75 inches long. It's first owner had kept it in plastic covering so it was immaculate, pristine. So, to protect my couch, I sprayed it with Bitter Apple before going to work in the morning.

I came home in the evening and there was a foot of stuffing all over the floor from room to room and the couch had not one piece of fabric or padding left. She had even gnawed away the bits where it fabric was stapled to the frame so only scraps remained. The rest was just all over the entire house. I wanted to kill her.

I was so afraid I would hit her in anger, I tossed my keys inside and locked myself out. I walked over to a friend's house because she had a key and wouldn't be home for a few hours as she taught in Milwaukie. I sat on her porch trying to cool off and did, eventually. By the time she got home and found the spare key, I knew I would not punish my dog.

But damn, she was determined. She left nothing attached to the frame and springs, nothing.
