a stray kitten showed up at my mom's doorstep around the time miguel was getting really sick and my mom can't take care of her. she's bringing the kitten over tomorrow. i've been staying at a friend's house this week bc i couldn't stand being at my apartment alone.
i'm feeling better. still crying at the drop of a hat at any reminder, but i gotta go back. someone needs to look after this little girl.

We had a black cat, Grayson, go missing and it broke our heart (i know it's not the same) and then a few weeks later another black cat, Romeo, came into our lives. It turns out he was born the day Grayson went missing. I'm not saying they're the same, but I do feel like it was fate. We needed each other.
