yamaha 40cents?! the ones i bought cost me like $0.50-$1... and the type if picks depends on ur preference... i'd say get a nylon one

if you have an acoustic guitar, a nylon one isn't that bad since it can play soft + loud while a medium gauge pick can't do those

but the sound on the acoustic guitar will sound much brighter using a medium gauge pick than a nylon one

Mine is classical larhh...

then use nylon lo... if you intend to continue learning guitar etc, you gotta switch to an acoustic so that you can get seasoned fingers

which practicall means,you should buy the nylon one for the time being.

it is the best for classical guitar.the projection of the sound is far more better.
