I use it a lot, over the phone and to update twitter and plurk at the same time. Works really well if you link it up with your IM too

one should use it sparingly. I have unfollowed folks here and/or @ Twitter who *overuse*

I use if to dual posts for plurk and twitter. Convenient more than a must have for me.

but Barbara, that would be an overuse of the service of plurk or twitter, not ping.fm

I'm still figuring out how best to use it? do you always have to be on the ping.fm site to use?

you can put a pingbot in your IM contacts for instance, or send an email to ping.fm
