it depends on whether they're "regular" chores or special chores. Regular are normal household tasks, part of being a family, no pay.

didn't 'pay' for kids to do chores .. but the amount of allowance would go -down- if chores were not done.

course, back then it was $5/wk allowance, 25cents for each chore not done was removed.

I don't think so - Unless it's above and beyond what they are expected to do. They should have their regular chores. Then if you have other
