Shocked! lol! It's either a steak or chicken patty dipped in a batter and flour, then fried. If done right, it's very good! Comfort food.

amused. Going to NOLA for food is cheating: practically everywhere is good (was there for 6 yearas) ;+)

NOLA/MS Gulf Coast food is some of the best you'll ever eat - esp the grits!
