first try is slow of course, loading inventory, etc..

Textures seem to load noticeably faster in it, and the map was completely replaced with the map from slurl.com - so that is way faster.

spits on UDP.

well, UDP is okay for some things, being stateless. but for loading fat content like textures? HTTP all the way

also, it is cache-able and can be load balanced and proxied. its only good news.

i really dont know BTW, i have textures not loading at all, or taking forever. not conclusive for me yet...
