I am the way into the city of woe,
I am the way into eternal pain,
I am the way to go among the lost.

Before me, there were no created things.
But those that last forever - as do I.

Abandon all hope you who are about to enter here.
You are now in the presence of the motherfuckin’ king!

it seems like a waste to throw it away and i dont want to waste it and money.....
i got excited b/c i have coworkers i like and i wanted to Bake something....
sugar should be fine, not sure on flour.
seconding that the sugar is likely ok; has the flour been in an airtight container?
basically stir through it with a spoon, if there's any moisture clumps it's a definite no
oh yeah didn't think about the flour like that, I should probably get rid of it....
sugar should be fine. as long as the flour has been kept dry/doesn't smell weird or have bugs or whatever it should be ok. flour can be fine for years as long as it's been stored properly
it was in a bag in my cupboard, which isn't like wet at least
I did get some new baking powder tho
yeah baking powder and yeast does need to be replaced more regularly
i have flour i've been slowly working through for A While and it's still fine
you can also use flour to make plaster of Paris if you don't wanna toss it but don't wanna bake with it
omg not sure that I have anything to use plaster of Paris for but good to know
but yeah I figured that stuff that is an active ingredient doesn't keep as much, I'm sure my yeast is dead
flour should be fine, sugar will be
