help please? I was going to unpack a box that has my purses and some of my clothes in it, and this is attached to one of my purses

for context, there are handles on either side of the box, and my dad left a majority of my stuff on the fucking porch

also, there's one opening, and it's about as long as my middle finger

Looks like some wasps tried to build something there.

I had two wasps fly out at me when I was unpacking a different box, but my dad was here to kill them, and he and my stepmom are out of town

I took the box outside and tipped it over, then tapped on the sides, and there were no bugs in there

thank god

yeah looks like the start of a nest.
