I have a very rough idea of how I want to do this sync stuff but actually starting on it feels daunting, don't wanna. Just want to sleep
Today was spent brainstorming how to sync the player controlling weapons, no good answer came to me yet. Also replacing the CPU cooler in my PC.
Getting back into it, improved the netcode for the worms characters and most of the weapons. Need a big think on how to handle the special weapons that take away character control, thats a bit harder to sync
No dev yesterday and not planning on any today either. The break is doing wonders for my brain at least, might go back to being insane on the weekend, we will see.
No dev today, messed around with that doodle earlier to try and practice a little. Its very rough but I don't hate it I guess.
Another rest day, planning to really switch back to worms after the birthday game is actually delivered. Christmas season isn't making it easy to focus either.
I've taken a look at the worms game again, I need to rework how the networking works for objects. Need to reduce the network load and make it more desync resistant if possible because I saw issues testing with a friend.
Got another playtest, some hard to reproduce stuff, some minor lighting complaints, honestly I think its clean enough of a result to have this be the release (with the credits updated).
Didn't attempt to do anything today, sleeping and chilling and cooking, recovering a bit from the stress of this project.
