another busy day. I'm keeping a friend's kids for about 2 hours after school until the end the school year. I swear I'm always telling them to shut the fucking door. Well, yesterday they let one of my cats out.

My kindle is great for bedtime reading but I do prefer actual print books. Old fashioned I know & I fear they might disappear one day from shelves but I hope not.

Being able to have lunch at home in your own kitchen during your work shift is such a luxury. Not just money saving but actually a luxury. Audio book, knitting, and a home made meal. Love my job.

Just finished the Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. Great book. The end was both happy and sad at once. I think you have to be a parent to understand.
