very sad tonight. During the recent big storms a large tree fell on a house and killed a young mother of two sons while sleeping in her bed. Today a group of somber people came into the tasting room. Turns out it was the parents, aunts and uncles. They just needed something "fun" to do to keep them sane. Remember to tell the ones you love you love them.

I can still get avocados all times of the year. And I hope it won't break my bank account for this addiction.

tired. 4 hours of sleep. Went to the "Big Town" to take FJ in for a major tune up. Then kaydub and I went around running errands which were many but we were done early enough to have a delicious lunch. FJ was suppose to be done around 3:00 but when I dropped him off at 4:09 it still wasn't done. He finally got to leave at 6:04. 2hr drive home.

when we get awaken by raccoons or fox fighting under our deck at 2:30. Dexter is going crazy.

Days like this when it's sunny and clear, then raining lightly and still appears to be clear (where did that rain come from?) then dark with downpours and now sunny again.

enjoying the LIGHT rainy afternoon. Did some quilting while enjoying a lovely fire in the wood stove. Life is good!

that the sun is shining. There are deer in my field (which they've been hiding lately....mountain lion is in the hood). Life is good.
