Who ya gonna call?

Teaching ESL to a Spanish speaker today and got stuck in German. Could not get past the German for "he" to say the Spanish. "I'm in German, I'm in German," I told her. Which is no help at all.

Can now report I am not only safe, but our power is finally back on! I'm safe, but the attic/garage area was smashed - but we have a tarp on it! Missed y'all!

Was it here someone posted the thing about the Cybertruck renamed the Deplorean? I meant to comment that I'd actually seen one in town - ages ago - and assumed someone was paid to drive it all over the southeast.

Going to try to add a puppet to ESL class today: Officer Reader (left over from children's storytimes). These are adults. He gets to flirt with the ladies.

I've been up since 4 am (thank you, Errol). Grr.

All five (surviving) blackberry bushes have put out new canes for next season's berries! (The sixth one croaked early on.) I'm so happyyyy.

Made 8 cups of lime marmalade today and six jars didn't seal. Will have to eat it fast I reckon.
