I’m getting social. Today was a Friends of the Library board meeting, and I’m going bowling this afternoon with the local Ethel group. I’m not sure how social I wish to be, but I’m giving it a shot.

I made it to restorative yoga this morning. Very nice.

We got a walk in downtown today, and stopped at the marine center on the pier downtown. J & S were here for the weekend.

I’m ready for new glasses! My cataract surgeries are done, and in a week or so I’ll actually be able to see clearly again.

We are headed to the cabin today. The first mountain snows of the season are in the forecast. First fire of the season, too, so I’m looking forward to a cozy cabin!

The majority of our house is painted, and we couldn’t be happier. Next, the porches.

2nd cataract surgery is done, and I had a good check up today. It is strange to be able to see distance, but not close up. The ophthalmologist was very pleased with my left eye, and the right eye feels like it will heal faster. I miss wearing glasses, though - I’ve tried several times to take them off!

Good gym this morning, and I’m off to the ophthalmologist for a surgical consultation for cataract surgery. 👀

Orange sunshine today, thanks to smoke from fires in Oregon. Hopefully it starts to clear in a day or so. I’m not sure what the status is on the fires, though.

We spent the afternoon at the wedding of two friends. It was fun, and the brisket was delicious!
