Good gym this morning, and I’m off to the ophthalmologist for a surgical consultation for cataract surgery. 👀

Orange sunshine today, thanks to smoke from fires in Oregon. Hopefully it starts to clear in a day or so. I’m not sure what the status is on the fires, though.

We spent the afternoon at the wedding of two friends. It was fun, and the brisket was delicious!

We seem to be on the mend from Covid. W had a rebound from the Paxlovid, but is coming out of that. Whew!

I finally made it out.

It’s the first day of school in my old district, so I’ve been seeing all the pictures of the kids who were in elementary school when I retired. I enjoy the pictures, but am glad I’m not there! I’ll stick to my virtual instruction in the library media endorsement program. Even the adults can produce some drama, though...

Covid has finally arrived at our home. W has it, and I’m waiting to see if I get it. It’s weird to wear a mask in the house. 😷😷

Today is my son’s birthday - how can he be 40?! He and S will be heading this way tomorrow. His crew is planning a party for him after they come out of the backcountry today.

I’m trying to get out of my slump. Pulled a few gel prints today, and got out for a walk before it got dark.

It was a quiet weekend. W has surgery on both hands to release a ligament causing his trigger finger. We’ll be glad when it’s done.
