It’s going to get crazy around here. My son and daughter-in-law are hosting the party they didn’t have when they got married in 2021. So far, over 120 people are confirmed! Their friends will be coming from all over; some will be camping on the property. Baby Gramps will be entertaining, plus they have a DJ. All the neighbors are invited. Should be fun!

We took a couple of walks today, checking out places our daughter-in-law’s family can visit this week here on the Olympic Peninsula. Minus tide!

For the second year in a row, a doe gave birth in our front yard, twins this time!

We’ve been busy! Seattle and The Rolling Stones concert on Wednesday, and now we’re at the cabin, heading home today.

The Rolling Stones did not disappoint! And I’ve never been on a ferry with as many people as we headed back to Bainbridge after midnight!

It’s going to be a busy day - gym, and then we are heading out of town to go to The Rolling Stones concert in Seattle. Tomorrow we’ll head to the cabin.

Home from the cabin. We did a lot of driving this time, although my sister and brother-in-law came up Friday and brought lunch. We drove up to Twisp to catch our son and daughter-in-law at the finish of a marathon relay they did. They had faster runs, so we missed them at the finish, but did get to hang out for awhile.

Home from the cabin. And it was our fasted trip ever - 4 hours 15 minutes, driveway to driveway. It helped to wait less than 5 minutes for the ferry.

We’re at the cabin for a few days. The avalanche lilies and trillium are blooming.
