We’re at the cabin for a few days.

I’m getting ready to teach my research methods course - changing some things, updating, and generally having a month to do it this time. Last year I didn’t even have access to,the course until,the second day of the quarter, and then I felt crazy for the first two weeks.

We made it out on the trail today to clear a small tree off the trail. It was chilly but a nice walk!

With all of the rain we’ve been having, it seemed like a good idea to check out the Elwha River this afternoon.

We are back home after a rainy weekend. 4 hours and 40 minute trip- not bad at all.

It’s now raining at the cabin. The fire pit in the back will be re-emerging if this keeps up.

We are at the cabin. We drove right on the ferry with 3 minutes to spare. We have a lot of snow.

My sister shared a video of a cougar walking past her front door in the night. 😳 They had seen tracks in the snow, but finally saw the cat.

The water is running at my son’s place! He showed up today, he and my husband got it fixed, and he’s on his way home already. I saw him for about 15 minutes. Next time....

21° here, and a warning from my coach that the parking lot of the gym is icy. Brrrr....
