Sitting on the porch, grilling a ribeye, waiting on Ike. Breeze currently coming from NW here in Mo. City.
I may be so tired by the time the storm gets here that I sleep through it.
Still getting a few things out of yard. Tv shots of Galveston are amazing, and that's only about 6 of the expected 20 ft rise.
Plywood is up on my house and son's house. Making quick trip to Port Arthur to get other son's dog. He's on Coast Guard duty for duration.
Remembering 9/11 and the horror. And preparing for a pretty good blow from Ike.
Okay. Ike has my full attention.
My daughter reports that she had to change the tv channel. Channel 2 was freaking her DOGS out with their storm coverage.
Good morning. Watching Ike (not on TV), going to pick up a few supplies, fill up cars before price goes back up.
Ben's at Papa/Nana's house while Dadda/Momma are at OB appt. Ben and I are having great fun.
Enjoyed a nice lunch with other Lifeline Chaplaincy volunteers. What a neat group of folks.
