I just got him today

it warmed clear up to 7 today... also, I'm not used to getting much in the way of snow if it's cold out, but apparently that happens anyway, here. Michigan isn't Alaska, lol. I never had to deal with the lake changing things the way it does. and if course it's Superior, so it really, really changes weather snort

I need to get a new bookshelf, but at least all my trades and novelizations are on the shelf now. I also need another shelf for my sci fi/fantasy stuff

They re-opened the Mackinac Bridge... It wad just fine, driving along, more traffic than normal but it was nothing ridiculous until I hit the middle of the span and now I'm stuck here because that's how long the line is to pay the bridge toll, and we're under a high wind warning and I'm shuddering in a full size van

update: looks like they're leaving the bridge closed overnight, so I'm stranded until then. luckily one of the churches up here is offering room for the night, otherwise I'd be headed 150 miles south back to the MIL -_-

this is going to be an interesting day... the bridge is closed due to falling ice -_- and it's BEEN CLOSED for the last 5 hours, apparently...
