Finally eating the best chicken katsu I ever had so far. The restaurant specialized in Tonkatsu, but their chicken also very nice. It’s soft, not watery, and melt in your mouth.

Not sure why, but Japanese online transaction are always overly complicated., overly descriptive but anxiety induced.

My planning is just to visit Yanagawa to have boat ride on their moat and eat expansive unagi in one of the oldest restaurant in town.

But then we end up going to Dazaifu.

Hakata Ramen smells like sewage. Everytime I pass by ramen restaurant the smells follow me for 2 blocks away.

Face is Rambo but hearth is hello kitty.

Got free dessert tower tea time from the hotel. And all of them are super tasty.

Eating dessert like there’s no tomorrow. This two bad boys costed only 5200 yen, itadakimasu.

And obviously this dessert cafe only attracted women and the gays.

Everybody need to know that my Ryokan have not one but two private onsens. And the other one is outdoor.

The road trip in Kyushu Japan made me realize how much Japanese like tunnels. At some point on the routes there is 3 km tunnel and then short bridge and then 2 km tunnel, and 1 km long tunnels are pretty common. And the amount of tunnel vs open road is almost 1 by 2.
