The sun was setting. It was not so much that the day was long as the night was going to be too short.
She traipsed through the tulips as the twins tickled her taste buds with great trepidation and a twisted thrill.
'Why?' There was no need for the question and yet there it was.
'It doesn't have to be this way!' She knew the words were futile the moment they left her mouth but she had to try.

She drew the sword out slowly, savouring the high-pitched music of metal against scabbard. 'You will now die.'
She crept up the alley, taking care to remain in the shadows. Pondering on the ease of the task at hand, she waited for the inevitable trap.
Desire was not an option here but still the fixation continued. It didn't help that the object of desire was wearing just enough.
