Good news everyone! I got my external harddrive put in a new case for $50 and it's working again! 
Ah fuck, my external harddrive has decided to die on me. The same external drive I've saved just about everything to because I'm an idiot who doesn't understand how to back up...

So got around to calling Officeworks regarding the phone I ordered. Alas it won't be arriving in time for my birthday, boo, I have to wait for a week after that.

Also, I bought these suction cup light holder thingies for my Christmas lights only to discover said cups won't stick on my Granny Flat's exterior walls. I hope they let me return them!

Well this sucks, one day to 2017 and I get plantar facsiitis which in layman terms means that ever step I take on my right foot feels like someone's sticking a knife in my heel.
