Just spent 2 hours in line at the DMV with 2 kids in tow and have nothing to show for it. Apparently 2+2=5 if you work at the DMV.

Awaiting an expected offer on the house - on moving day no less.

Cleaning sap off of the ceiling. I guess this year's tree was too large.

Saffron buns are perfect with coffee. Swedes sure know how to make baked goods. Now if only I had some lye-soaked fish to wash it down.

Stuck in Providence due to the ice storm in NY and Western Mass. Hoping to make it home tomorrow and hoping Emilie doesn't lose power.

I Googled "Unkey Dunkey" and got, "Did you mean: Honkey Donkey?" Sadly, no. I didn't. (Apparently it is spelled "Unkie Dunkie").

6 hour drive back from NY today in the freezing rain and holiday traffic. Happy to be dry & safe!
