And no, his orphaning wasn't the usual "My parents died, wahh" it was the "My parents got caught for involvement with several crime rings and drug dealing along with other crimes the police have yet to discover." So now he's just a little delinquent(he gets adopted later on)

I know that post seems irrelevant and out of no where but my oc was orphaned on new years

When something bad happens on any kind of event(birthdays, Xmas, new years, etc) and so it's set as an unforgettable reminder of what happened, ultimately ruining the event
