only four days of teaching this week and then it is off to the wedding festivities. Where has the time gone???

it is time to call it a day. Not only did I survive the first two days, I'm thriving. I cannot believe I only have 20 kids.

the first day of school is the absolute best!
sleep well tonight. Flying home is hard work...even if I'm just sitting on the plane.
meet up with a former second grade student later tonight. Kelly works for the Washington Post. She was a writer, even back in second grade.
enjoy dinner at the Capital Brewery. It is right across the street from Union Station. It has a wonderful atmosphere and really good food.
