So we made lilac jelly - which turned out to be more of a lilac sauce? Either not enough pectin or not enough sugar, though we did follow the recipe. So it will go back in the pot for more of both and who knows, maybe this time it'll work. Next up? Peony-strawberry jam. Peonies are getting ready to bloom, can't wait!

And now. somehow over the past 10ish hours, I have developed conjunctivitis in both eyes. How do I KNOW it's conjunctivitis, you ask? Well, the symptoms are rather obvious. Go me?

So I have been out sick for the past few nights. Cold meds, advil, halls cough drops and frozen juice bars are my friends!! Supposed to go back ro work tonight but still have the sore throat and the coughing up green ick this g going on. It's all up to employee health now I guess.

I am alive! I don't know how good I am. just realized how I haven't taken my thyroid meds in I don't know how long. HOWEVER I remembered then yesterday &today so thats good. Hair still blue. Still trying to bead. Been in a dark place for winter, think i am coming out of it finally.
