never understand why her mother feels the need to call to tell her that she just sent an email.

Seriously. She just called me on the landline, found it was busy, so called me on my cell phone to tell me that she'd just sent me an email
and then proceeded to tell me everything that the email was about. I had to tell her twice that I was on the other phone with somebody
who had limited phone time, and that I'd just respond to her email when I got back to the computer.
But it drives me nuts when she does that. Calling to tell me she emailed me and then telling me everything she already said in the email.
Sometimes I'll actually get that call from her when I'm in the middle of typing my freaking reply to her!
Next time, ask her to fax the info as well.
She probably doesn't seem to be annoying, but... I really don't understand the point of doing that. .-.
Unless it's something that needs to be answered right away, in which case, why not just call to ask instead of doing both?
if that could be a generational thing.
