If you get a job in a small not-for-profit, they'll likely be ever so happy to have you playing with the tech stuff. Worked for me. Kinda.

you could do layout/dtp... then, you get to play with computers and fancy programs all the time...

i guess you do that anyway, but if you want to work for my company, you get to lay out text and graphics in 10+ languages...

I did the layout of a program in 10 languages. It wasn't that much fun.
