I find this book kind of challenging at times. When it talked about the people who are similar to Chris, I got a little lost.
I think it's so strange how Loren Johnson is such an animal lover, yet he continues to hunt, and he cries each time he does.
I think that Chris' family had a really strong impact on his journey, and in a way, that impact led to his death.
Walt says, "He was only twelve then, so all he could do was complain. If he'd be fourteen or fifteen, he would have simple gone without me."
After explaining how he didn't want to continue climbing, and Chris did. I think this really had an effect on Chris' feelings
towards his father. I think Walt wasn't paying enough attention to his son, and didn't care to see if maybe he was ready for something like
this, and that age really had nothing to do with it at all. I think Chris was building up his belief that he could do anything, and he
didn't like to be underestimated.
yes..he truly felt isolated...his family relationships were very flawed
