i think it actually makes sense from the school's pov. but as a parent, i say... chill lah. the kid isn't gonna fail for missing 2.3 days of

classes per year. n it's JUST SCHOOL. it's not like ur life is gonna be over if u skip 2.3 school days a yr. kids need some off time too!

exactly. Of course, I didn't know schools got paid by gov with an attendance factor. Maybe SG schools aren't like that...
