wow, so you finally quit the research lab. What are your plans? Finish school and move out west?

Well, I'm nearly quit. I'll spend the wrest of the summer finishing a short film at (post-)school for SIGGRAPH and then who knows.

cool, the world awaits you. Are you done with the lab though? The school film is seperate from that? Will it be shown at SIG?

Well, both my jobs involve a lab, I've done media for science lab, that I'm less than a week from being done with.

But I also work as a lab monitor at my animation labs so it's probably confusing to follow. That one I can milk through spring if I had to.

Oh, and no, I'm afraid we won't be in SIGGRAPH this year, we missed the submissions deadline by a couple hours.

I'm not even sure we'll be done by SIGGRAPH, if nothing goes wrong we could be done by end of July. But when does nothing ever go wrong?

yeah I hear ya. Well i'm sure I'll get to see it sooner or later. Should be an interesting summer
