ours never used to do anything like that. he would just sit there no matter what, eventually he'd have enough and just walk off...

actually, ours never used to like the vacuum although there was no running. i think it's because he used to get vacuumed occasionally

my mother did. he would refuse to move no matter how much you poked him. the sod used to sit in the road and do the same.

our boy cat it a bit like that, he likes his spot on the sofa and he gets so grumpy if you bother him

but he's so fluffy it's impossible to leave him alone
