For some reason we're getting minus Celsius numbers this week as well X'D
What is up with that? shivers in sympathy
It started snowing yesterday, not as bad as what yours looks like, but it was still white out when it had rained all week last week, so we checked and it's supposed to get to -9°C (my mother even said -15°C shudder) and I'm not looking forward to it X'D
It's past Christmas, please stop.
Is it sad that this is the first snowstorm of the season and I'm over it already?
Ah, I should have known you'd get hit with the snow
We haven't had such a big snowstorm yet. Kinda hope it's not happening.
Liu, please tell me that you got at least some of this stuff?
We need the snow, and I understand that. snow packs in the mountains that slowly melt in the summer months help keep us from drought conditions. (at least I think that's how it works). But damn, if only there was another way!
it's not supposed to end for another 4-5 hours and I have already shoveled twice.
i'm into it. Means I don't have to go anywhere
Yea, yea. Old lady complaining about the weather. I know, I'm my own meme.
also, down here it's honestly a pretty wimpy snowstorm
I have to work tonight, and fortunately the storm should be over and the roads pretty clear by then.
fingers crossed!
I am glad you don't have to go anywhere! The wind sucks and the snow is light and fluffy = whiteout conditions.
yeah, we're not getting a lot of wind
Yea crossing everything that roads will be clear for you
We were getting all these alerts about snowpocalypse but this far south it's mostly been rain
Thank goodness it was mostly rain here, I'm not ready for Atlanta in a Snowpocalypse. Stay warm and safe up there! <3
Will do! My roomie, who has been out plowing this stuff since it started, said we got about a foot (30 cm) of snow. So it's not a bad storm, just an annoying one.
Bad storms are that heavy wet snowstorms. GREAT for snowballs and snow forts, horrible for backs and joints.
Final view for the night:
And yes, for those of you living where it is always warm - we tarped over the woodpile before the storm began.
I'm glad you had time to get everything squared away! What a lot of snow!
