like, it takes plenty of missteps too, but it always did - even s1's best episodes have their share of corny bullshit. it's kind of part of the charm

ep6 introduces a new character i really hope we see more of elsewhere; ep7 is basically a rip off of Thor 1 via Shang Chi 1 featuring Hela of all characters; ep8 is set in 1602 and is honestly kind of adorable at points; and ep9 is a solid finale

also s2 in general takes the idea we see some of in s1 that Thanos Is A Little Bitch Actually and runs with it. like, if the theme of s1 is "fuck you Tony Stark" then the theme of s2 is "it's cute that Thanos was ever a legitimate threat"

and yeah the steggy stuff gets to be overbearing, like oh my god Peggy please grieve and move already, but i've come to like this thing where Captain Carter is brave and heroic and has a huge heart that she gives to everyone she meets AND ALSO is kind of a dick, and she's at her most dickish when it comes to anything regarding Steve, so

here is your one actual spoiler, i don't feel like doing a whole giant plurk thread about this: there's a moment in 1602 where Loki falls and Peggy catches him and he has the wherewithal to quip at her????
