well... back from vacation. call mum to arrange pickup bc christmas

turns out grandpa got active kidney failure, the nurses in his retirement home give him maybe 3 days

esp since he refuses to go to a hospital (he's not taken well to grandma dying 5 years back, let alone having to be in a retirement home)

and my siblings, who are currently visiting the sperm-donor, picked up covid somewhere, so i´m the only one who can visit

so much for the holidays

i´m not... exactly sad/grieving, we've known this been coming ever since grandpa had the car accident that miraculous DIDNT kill him. but the man basically raised us while mum was in the hospital with cancer

and inheriting is a mess when you cant afford to keep it
