Mostly putting this down early so I don't lose my impressions of #1 and #3 before I head off to bed, since Hirogaru won't be until much later today.

Anyways, the Precure Virtual World live was... Fun? The character show had the Heartcatch team fight an "internet" kaiju that had the power to respawn when killed. I am absolutely going to use that concept in a magical girl story now.

After that, they did the character show again, because by pure coincidence the timing for when it ended was an ideal time to catch Otona Precure if you were living in Japan. This meant that when the concert section started with Yes! Precure 5 Gogo, there was a lot of crying over Nozomi.

After that was of course, guest segments, starting with Dengeki Shojo Siro. ...Who I shall hereon refer to as "Cure Paiin", after she took up the title. ...It was a reference to Paripio Paiin, the third song in her set-list. That song was also the highlight of her set-list, I feel like.

After that was Hololive's Ayame Nakiri... That was just an insane setlist all around.Both high-speed music, and full of intensive dancing. I admit this is the first time I've properly seen Ayame and not watched her clips, but damn that was impressive. She also took a segment to explain what she loves about the Smile Precure cast.

The Heartcatch segment... I honestly don't have a strong impression of. The audience seemed to be quite impressed with the 3D model's ability to pull off Cure Marine's exaggerated movements, though.

And after that was the "Joe Rikichi from Nijisanji rambles about Precure" talk show. His segment only had 3 songs instead of 4. The rest of the time was spent in high-speed Precure conversations that I absolutely couldn't keep up with.

After the second song (Mitsu no Aji, which the audience agreed was "perfect as a Precure Enemy Exec. song"), Elu from Nijisanji who's supposed to appear on Day 2 appeared and most of the rest of the set was the two continuing high-speed Precure chatting. And then they finished the set with a duet version of Precure 5's OP.

..Mitsu no Aji was definitely the highlight of that segment for me, though.

After that, it was the Smile Precure segment... I lost to Cure Peace three times in her character song segment. I think this is very important.

The ended their setlist with Smile Precure's ED, with the Heartcatch and Precure 5 teams joining in at the end, making for a very flashy ending to the concert.

Anyways, it was. Fun. A lot of the Day 1 stuff kind of implied that the Day 2 stuff would be "sequels" to it, but I mean. I didn't pay for both days, so.

So anyways, Otona Precure, or: "Why everyone was screaming during the Yes! Precure 5 segment."

Nozomi, please stop deathflagging so much.

I think she hit like 4 different death flags this episode.

Anyways, final battle has started, short cameo of Nagisa and Honoka. Also Bell is a time traveler.

What does any of this mean? I have no idea. It doesn't make her plan seem any smarter, though.

Okay, done watching Hirogaru... Yes, it's time for a time travel episode! ...Episodes? This one turned out to be a two-parter. Also, Tsubasa and Ageha don't get to come along, so they're just gone for this and the next episode, I guess.

Anyways, this trip back in time reveals that... Nope, Undergu empire has always been terrible, and in spite of the Undergu empire constantly painting themselves as the victims of Skyland, the only reason they were there to be "victimized" was because they were invading and trying to kill people, so?

We also got this continuity's version of "The First Precure": Cure Noble, who may or may not reincarnate into Elle. She might also be Elle's star mom, idfk.

Anyways, there are enough hints to know where this is going: Noble ends up killing Undergu Emperor because there's not actually any way to purify Undergu energy yet, which results in the younger version of the current Empress becoming traumatized by having someone she personally cares about getting killed by her father's reckless wars...

Prompting her to switch from pacifist who hates war, to swearing a blood vendetta against Skyland for the horrible crime of defending themselves from an invading army.

Anyways, for Ancillary stuff... Pre-ED today was Majesty. Cure Scarlet's birthday continues to be on the 15th. The official youtube channel's content over the past week has mostly been ads for the Precure Virtual World Live.
