The class was super fun though. I really think I could get a lot out of it. I desperately need more core strength to help my back pain and flexibility to help my arthritis.
I've always adored watching dancers (including pole dancers honestly, ever since I first saw them, which must have been on TV or movies when I was fairly young lol).
I've always been jealous of the confidence and skill it takes to essentially act with your whole body. I would love to get to a place where I could do even a fraction of the stuff they do.
I definitely have a good idea of what I need to work on after that class lol. She put us through a good range of stuff since there were two other students who were further along.
Besides just building the muscles needed, it's going to take a bit before I even feel comfortable taking my weight off my feet. That's always been a struggle for me, even when I was a kid. I like my feet firmly planted on a stable surface lol.
