regular dante doesnt give a fuck about humans and their struggles, meanwhile british dante cares very much about human suffering, being staunchly anti-cop and doing his best to comfort his human companion from limbo while she was forced to endure cop violence
like i do get that people are offput by ninja theory’s like “tryhard edgy man” take on dante, and i do also get why, but like it very much is just a front he puts on, and he does show himself to be a more sympathetic man as the game goes on
