[Philly locals] We're getting into the holiday season! What are some fun festive things this city has to offer? Any cool light displays, fancy holiday windows, cool big trees, etc.?
some of the stuff is up around city hall, there are vendors and an ice skating rink
after Thanksgiving the rest of it will be up at Love Park across the street
walk down to 12th and Chestnut, they put up lights around the new Jefferson building there, I saw those last night
walk past Macy's, they have stuff in the windows and also inside, including the organ players
If you’re able to get out of the city itself, Shady Brook Farm has a beautiful light display every year, though I’m not sure when it starts.

yeah it's too bad we don't have a car, you'd probably like Peddler's Village's display. but it's a bit of a hike
oh, and I think they put things up in Franklin park? at like 8th and Vine
it's under construction rn so I don't know what the status is
I would love for a group of us to go to that market they set up!
I think there's going to be some productions of A Christmas Carol at some point, though that may be more in the burbs area
