she was also so offended that the psych had said that even though I might match symptoms of this "new autism," she has to go by the DSM... but then also had asserted that I have BPD by leading with "you don't have all of the qualifiers for it, but--"

I'm pretty sure I could see my counselor's blood quietly boiling at that one.

both because of the double standard of diagnosis there, but also that she was able to write off all of my life's-worth of experiences in order to rule out ASD, while deciding I have a personality disorder after knowing me for two hours.
