[Kingdom Heats/Magic: The Gathering] My friend and have a minor (and humorous) disagreement about Riku's mana color. And I need back up.
latest #17
I argue Black and White (reflecting his later characterization in the series)
I also argue for Black and Blue
He argues for Black/Red because Riku's kit is more about aggression. And his affinity for Fire and later Thunder spells
Which I concede does make sense, but I hold that White/Black is his philosophy
Then we went from dual colors to triads.
and we couldn't agree if it was wedge or arc. Black being the only color we agree on.
I wish I knew anything abt magic the gathering to accurately have input but the aesthetic and meaning behind black and white for riku in general makes a whole lot of sense
Yeah, that's where I'm coming from.
I go with the sentiment that the color ideologies have less to do with what they do and more with what they value
(like that one piece of headwear from that one series written by a horrible person)
my husband the MtG guy says "AUGH I ONLY PLAYED KINGDOM HEARTS ONE AND TWO I DONT KNOW RIKU WELL ENOUGH"
Lol. Well, tell him thanks anyway
White and black is a perfect way to show how he went from controlled bad boy to loving good boy
