I appreciate the nurse shutting it down but I was shaking my head and gesturing for it to be put to a stop earlier on for a reason

talked to nurse about all my honest feelings and observations over how mom is living and she validated me/the feelings a lot

helped me see both the logical side of things and sort myself out some

also nurse gently nudged mom to be honest about what she wants

had me step out and helped her see that her health and emotions are very important

Honestly, what a good nurse

She's the best

She legitimately cares a lot about making sure the patient has their rights and comfort seen to regardless of every family member's feelings

Good, that's what your mom needs rn.

Now that nurse is a genuine advocate. Hopefully she can get some things straightened out.

I've spoken to the case worker and she reassured me that as next of kin I will essentially have final say if she's declared unfit to make such decisions
