I've been feeling weird after seeing photos of the recent bombing of my city; specifically, photos of our olympic pool "Meteor". That's my childhood right there. I was training to be a pro swimmer for like 7 years. I eventually dropped out; but it's still my childhood.

Looking at this, I am reminded of recent debacle about the lack of "sportsmanship and respect for friendly competition" by our fencer. I don't think the other side has any respect for that though. Only entitlement. But we don't owe any extra forgiveness or patience than each can individually provide, when these are conditions of our athletes.
