Sounds about right to me. I know a couple met in the similar culture camp (Taiwanese descendants went to Taipei for a summer camp and met each other there. It often turns into a dating camp for overseas youths LOL)

I did not watch the film just the trailer but maybe I will. To be fair though, that was the age this kind of the camp was aiming for (the rising, current or fresh graduated college kids), that's when my couple friends attended the camp. As to curfew... yeah weird that, unless their parents/guardians were traditional type of family... no idea.

我龜毛一點吧🤣 假如說是拍80/90年代我還會相信，但是場景就是比較現代化，還提到Tik tok, 所以我想應該是現代時期。我不曉得大學畢業年紀的還會有這種活動，澳洲這邊僑友會好像都是舉辦15-17歲的

Yeah the couple I know must be doing that camp in late 90s or early 00s. Their kids are 12 and 10 now
