目前最喜歡的是ch2, Mav和Bradley在不知道彼此身份的情況下相遇了，Mav還是那個Mav，善良、有點冒失、充滿同情心以及熱愛飛機，說起P-51的甜言蜜語 比對任何人類還要多

CH1
Carole為了Goose的意外怨恨Mav，其實也不難理解，而且這可能更接近正常人的反應吧。
Bradshaw家人留給Mav的最後一幕，是小Bradley玩著Mav親自挑選的F-14，渾然不覺一場巨大的悲劇已經改變他的一生
The last thing he saw was little Bradley who was playing with the F-14 Goose had personally hand-picked for him, unaware of the immense tragedy that had just happened.

Carole沒有告訴過Bradley多少關於Nick的事情，就好像她想獨佔關於他的回憶，在Bradley模糊的記憶中，只記得他是一個快樂的人

His mind went back to her comment about his father. His mother rarely talked about him, all the pictures were safely put away in her bedroom but he haunted every seconds of their lives with his absence. All Bradley ever had was their wedding picture and him in his naval uniform.

Any anecdotes would come out once in a while, when she was in a good mood, like she wanted to keep him for herself. He had still blurry memories more like feelings, brief touches in his mind, his father was happy, he recalled.

CH2

Slider做了蠢事，是Ice的責任，笑死
Damn it, Slider.
What had gotten in his mind? How come Ice had not tried to stop him from this utterly stupid idea? Was Ice even aware of it?

對於自己不用出錢就可以找人一起床上運動這點莫名驕傲的Mav
Maverick could work his charms and have someone in his bed, without having to pay for one, thank you Slider, it was very insulting.

非常有意思的描寫
Maverick had grown up with the world being separated in two truths: omegas were made for alphas and the soviets were the bad guys and Maverick would bust their asses. As he had learned in foster, betas had their own world too.

He had seen Goose, who was an alpha, choosing a beta and the USSR had collapsed. The world was still in one piece despite these two random facts that contradicted what Maverick had learned.

在Goose死去22年後，Mav對著Bradley回首自己的海軍飛行員生涯，渾然不覺眼前的人就是Goose的兒子，為了Carole的醫藥費出賣自己的發情期

Being an aviator was who he was, and it took months of talking with Ice, Charlie, Wolfman and Viper to get in back in the sky after Goose’s death. He had killed his best friend and ruined his family life.

The job was difficult, Goose’s ghost still haunting the cockpit but he had nothing else to do besides that. Flying was who he was. He served the country on the field, protecting in his way many other faceless Carole and Bradley. But only the real ones haunted his thoughts. He couldn’t let go, he had not earned his redemption. In whatever capacity that was.
