When I was stage managing my play this June I had to have some emergency with done on my seventeen year old car. (Which I've always loved.)

Very very long story short, found out I'd need over $4000 worth of body work for it to pass inspection this month. So, time to put my car research over the last couple of years into practice.

And, another very long story short, I found the exact car I wanted (an hour+ away), went down with my dad to check it out, and bought it.

It's now all registered and inspected and I've driven it for a couple of weeks and no longer feel like it's "too bright and expensive and nice' a car for someone like me to have.
