Reached out to a queer they/them photographer using their contact form today and like within an hour or two they texted me a 30 second video message and a text just letting me know they'll get back to me by email soon but that they're currently working at a wedding. ABOVE AND BEYOND, WOW
They really didn't have to respond while they're working another wedding??? but they did??? plus they pronounced my name correctly without me even putting in my note about how my name rhymes with "oh!" which I did sometimes in other contact forms but didn't do here.
I've immediately imprinted and want to hire this person and we haven't even spoken LOL
ey're going to be expensive (their range is 3600-8500, I'm praying that I'm on the lower end somehow but like, I was expecting 3000. 3600 is already a bit high and I could need a bit higher cuz they're based in Pittsburgh and I may need to pay travel fees for them to get to NY
but they're queer, their photos are great, they're professional and seem super nice and so... it's worth it to me
admittedly this person sounds pretty great, fingers crossed!!!
