Well! We finally did it, we are safely relocated to our new home and nearly unpacked. It still doesn't feel real

we made the final uhaul trip on the 28th, today was my second day of work and it's been a whole week of firsts such as

introducing ourselves to the neighbors, because this is a HOUSE not an apartment, and people really wanted to meet us (we had welcome baskets prepared to introduce ourselves with too)

one of them already brought us a sponge cake in return, they all seem super friendly

getting an old used washer and dryer DOWN THE STAIRS into our basement and installed

and replacing the power cord when it was incompatible with the plug down there |D (but it was rusted znyway, worth getting a new one)

building an new ikea shelf to use as a dresser, because i always wanted one and we tossed our old furniture

and mounting a TV to our bedroom wall, to name a few

not to mention finally giving in and buying my first smart phone

our internet unfortunately drops a lot but at least i can log in with that in times of it dropping

just even the fixtures in the bathroom are so cute? I didn't expect the place to be this nice

and my spouse has done just a bangup job decorating, he was actually excited to. I love everything he has done

it has been a hell of a time and I am exhausted and in the awkward newbie phase of my job

but I think I can get to liking it here. which is more at home than I've felt like the past 3 months when this ordeal started

I'm still adjusting and not gonna be online for any rp for another week yet since I have to set things up like my crafting room and repair some of my equipment

but I missed ya all and wanted to share some good news

when I'm back I'm gonna be ready to write! draw! print! and take on more daily art requests
